Dr Denia Ellul Delivers A Presentation At The Annual Company Law Conference

Earlier this week, Dr Denia Ellul, partner at Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal, delivered a very interesting presentation on the EU Directive on Multiple-Vote Share Structures, the challenges and opportunities it presents for capital markets listed entities, at the Annual Company Law Conference organized by the Chamber of Advocates and the Malta Law Academy at the Valletta Campus.

During her presentation Dr Ellul provided a deep-dive explanation of how the proposed EU Directive, once implemented into domestic law, could impact the manner in which listed SMEs are controlled by founder or key shareholders wielding multiple voting powers and the possible limitations to them which the proposed framework envisages
