With its proactive approach, particularly in the yachting sector, the Malta Merchant Shipping Directorate has issued a Commercial Yachts Extended Range Tender guidelines.
These Guidelines will be applicable from the 01st of June 2022 and are applicable only to Malta Flag Commercial Yachts’ Tenders which are ≤ 24m Length and which are designated as an appurtenance and falling under the Registration Certificate of the Mother Yacht.
Tenders serving Maltese Yachts, registered for Commercial purposes, can now have an increased range of operation to a maximum of 20NM from the existing 3NM, subject to their compliance with these guidelines.
