On the 05^th April, firm Partner Dr Theresienne Mifsud, was one of the speakers at the Annual Consumer Law Conference 2019, organised by the Malta Chamber of Advocates’ Malta Law Academy, in collaboration with the Department of Commercial Law at the University of Malta to commemorate World Consumer Rights’ Day.

The conference, which was introduced by the Chief Justice, Hon. Joseph Azzopardi, included a panel of speakers on various consumer law matters, featuring as key speaker Prof. Guido Alpa, who is Italy’s foremost expert and writer on consumer law.

Dr Mifsud delivered a presentation titled, “ The European Electronic Communications Code: An Effective Protection for Consumers?”, analysing the articles of the Code granting protection to end-users in the electronic communications sector.
