In addition to the Opportunities in Business Jets conference which was held on Wednesday 21st March, Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal have been in attendance also yesterday for the 6th Annual Opportunities in Superyachts conference.
During the conference various topics were discussed such as yacht marinas, the training and employment in superyachts, the potential impact of Brexit on the superyacht industry, superyacht financing, valuation & sales and also presented an update from the Malta Registrar General for Shipping on the new guidelines for the registration of pleasure yachts.
FFFL have attended also a VAT workshop which addressed the current local Maltese VAT legislation and included coverage of other jurisdictions particularly France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Croatia and Montenegro.
