Dr Ramona Galea joined Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal as an Associate in 2023.
Ramona graduated from the University of Malta with a degree in Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2021 after having successfully submitted her dissertation entitled “A stay of individual enforcement actions under Directive 2019/1023; Is a Viability test essential?”. In 2022, Ramona obtained her Master of Advocacy and was subsequently conferred with a warrant to practice as an Advocate in 2023.
During her years at the University of Malta, Ramona formed part of student organisations including GĦSL, during which time she had also started working as a legal intern whereby she gained experience in civil litigation at a top tier law firm. Following this, Ramona occupied the position of a Junior Associate whilst working within the Corporate and Commercial sector and had the opportunity of gaining a deep understanding of Anti-Money Laundering legislation.
Ramona currently works in the litigation department with a main focus on civil and commercial claims and has also developed a newfound interest in assisting clients within the public procurement sector.
