Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal is a long-established business law firm with offices in Valletta and B’Kara. It provides legal services in several practice areas, including Corporate & Commercial, Maritime & Aviation, Regulated Industries, Real Estate & Construction, Litigation, Employment Law and Private & Civil Law.
The firm is seeking to complement its current professional work-force by recruiting additional lawyers to join its teams in Valletta and B’Kara.
Associate
The Firm regularly advises private and institutional clients in complex transactions and disputes which require a good level of legal expertise and experience.
The lawyer we are looking for to join us must be a team-player who can manage clients and their requirements under the direction of a partner of the Firm and be able to communicate effectively and with the necessary competence, providing sound advice in line with the clients’ expectations.
Applicants for this role must possess the following qualifications and attributes to satisfy the high professional standards expected by the Firm, and will be expected to support the Firm’s professional practice whilst receiving the necessary training and mentorship to help him or her along his or her chosen path.
- A warrant to practice as an advocate in Malta.
- At least two years’ experience.
- Proficient written and spoken English and Maltese. Additional languages will also be given value.
- An ability to communicate skilfully and work with enthusiasm and drive.
- Be career oriented and have an ambition to develop progressively within the Firm.
- Be willing to represent clients in Court, if required, and to travel overseas on conferences and on client assignments.
A post-graduate degree, although not essential, will be considered an asset.
