Welcoming The Honourable President Of The European Parliament

On the 19^th February 2024, Dr Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament attended the Firm’s head offices in Birkirkara as part of a visit organised by the firm together with ARQ Group and Capstone Assurance. This visit provided the Firm’s partners, associates and management team members with an invaluable opportunity to meet with Dr Metsola and engage with her in a Q&A session in which she shared some interesting insights into various topics of general and special interest, including gender equality, the functioning of a democracy governed by the Rule of Law, the protection of the environment, the regulation of the professional services and regulated industries and the geopolitical and economic challenges currently being faced by the European Union.

Our partner Dr Denia Ellul, who heads the Firm’s financial services unit, moderated the discussion.
